It’s time to start thinking about winter tires

It’s that time of year again. The leaves are falling, the temperatures are dropping and snow is either here or on its way depending on where you live. And that means you should think about putting a set of winter tires on your car.

While some of us may think we can get around fine with “all season” tires, it’s like the equivalent of wearing Air Force 1’s in the winter – it might work for a while, but you’re bound to fall flat on your ass sooner or later.

Men more likely to die driving than women

Men are more likely to be killed while driving than women, a new U.S study shows.

The study, done by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), shows that twice as many men than women were killed while driving in 2012 in the U.S. (23,808 men compared to 9,733 women). The study reveals that this disparity is mostly due in part to the fact that they cover more miles each year.

Tesla Model X: The most awaited electric vehicle of 2015

It still may be a while before the Model X, Tesla’s first SUV, goes on sale in North America, but we already know that this zero emission, super-high-performance family hauler is going to be something special.

The Model X will share the same platform as the award winning Model S, but will come standard with all-wheel drive and child-friendly second and third-row seating.
